Services

Free in-home or in school visits are available to all parents, including teen parents, first time parents, expectant parents or parents who have children under age one.

RAPPORT helps parents to:

  • Get ready for labor and delivery.
  • Understand developmental needs of children.
  • Do activities that encourage learning.
  • Encourage a child's appreciation of books.
  • Understand how children learn through play.

The Parents As Teachers Program is used to prepare parents for their role as their child's first and most important teachers and to establish positive relationships with their child.

Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention services are available through individual and group education and counseling programs.

Eligibility

  • Health Educators certified in the Parents As Teachers curriculum deliver prenatal and parenting education.
  • Health Educators provide adolescent pregnancy prevention programming.

  • Elk County
  • McKean County
  • Potter County
  • Clearfield County
  • Jefferson County
