PA Thrive is Coming to Bradford!
The PA Thrive Partnership is a grant-funded program under Clarion University of Pennsylvania. It was established in 1991 to meet the needs of HIV positive people living within the thirteen counties in Northwest PA. All of the services provided by the PA Thrive Partnership are confidential and in compliance with ACT 148, The Confidentiality of HIV-Related Information.
PA Thrive is going mobile and they’re coming to Bradford! The mobile van will be here once a month for free testing starting Thursday, May 19th from approximately 10 AM – 2 PM. Their mission is to educate, conduct on-site testing, and provide resources to our community. Services are free to the public and no appointment is needed.
Clients and family who feel unsure about testing may benefit simply from talking to someone about HIV and Hep C prevention tips, treatments, and resources. Remember, testing is not necessary.
High Impact Prevention
“HIV education, outreach and testing are often overlooked as a service available to communities, especially those that are high-risk of contracting HIV. The High Impact Prevention (HIP) program offers HIV education and prevention, HIV testing and linkage to care. The HIP team provides these services to organizations, youth, inpatient/outpatient facilities, county prisons, shelters, and any other high risk individuals. Walk-in HIV testing is also available.” – PA Thrive Partnership
