Job Overview: The ACT Program Director is responsible for the operational management and clinical supervision of the multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment Team, a self-contained clinical team that provides intensive treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses. In addition to the administrative and supervisory functions, the Program Director is required to provide at least 10 hours of direct service to clients enrolled in the ACT program and is required to be cross-trained to perform all functions on the team other than psychiatric. 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:  

  • Manage the staffing of the team, including interviewing, evaluating, hiring, and training new ACT team members;
  • Evaluate potential new admissions, conduct admission interviews, and develop initial assessments and treatment plans in direct collaboration with the psychiatrist and other ACT team members;
  • Collaborate with the psychiatrist to direct and coordinate the client admission process and treatment, rehabilitation, and support; 
  • Provide clinical supervision of ACT team members as well as general oversight and supervision of the assessment and treatment plan for each client. This includes bimonthly individual supervision of team members, bimonthly group supervision, evaluating employee performance, and managing staff training plans; 
  • Commit to ensuring fidelity to the ACT model and ongoing quality improvement efforts; 

Education & Experience:   

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related human services field with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience 
  • Clinical License preferred 
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time  (40 hours per week) 

Flexible Work Schedule: Monday – Friday  

Work Location: Office / Local travel within the service delivery area is required as many ACT services are provided in community-based settings 

Pay: Starting Base Salary: $58,000 per year 

$2,500 Sign on Bonus is for qualifying positions. Must work full-time – 40 hours per week. The agreement will be reviewed and discussed upon hire.
