Job Overview: Schedule appointments for clients, assist in managing clinic staff schedules and perform various data entry tasks necessary to the smooth functioning of the clinic. Along with assisting clients entering the agency by managing data collection and follow-up, conducting brief interview when required, and coordinating with internal/external care providers to optimize service outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet clients efficiently and professionally including taking payments, notifying providers of their arrival, and obtaining necessary documents for the clinical file.
- Meet with individuals referred for outpatient services to gather necessary information and provide support.
- Appropriately reschedule clients for Outpatient Counseling appointments according to Program guidelines.
- Track hospital discharges to ensure prompt follow up is provided; notify appropriate Director of any potential issues, according to program guidelines.
- Back up Senior Director of Administrative Services when he/she is out of the office.
- Effectively, efficiently and professionally process fingerprints.
- Open and close agency independently and efficiently as directed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Education and Experience:
Candidates must have a High School Diploma and one of the following:
- Business or Associate degree
- 5 or more years’ office experience in a health care environment
- 3 or more years of supervisory experience
