Job Overview: Specialist will provide developmental services to infants and toddlers aged birth to three in home or community settings as prescribed in the IFSP addressing the unique strengths and needs of the child and family. Travel is required with mileage reimbursement. Office location is Smethport with a hybrid work option to begin or end work from home with excellent benefits!
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complete 24 hours of EI related training per fiscal year and hold a current CPR certification.
- Identify individual needs of clients and prepare specific activities for home visits to meet such needs.
- Communication with county service coordinator on an ongoing basis about clients.
- Use coaching model to improve parenting techniques through modeling, demonstration and providing information.
Education & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Early Intervention related field and 1-year experience
- A bachelor’s degree which includes 15 credit hours in Early Intervention related studies and 1-year experience.
