Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the formal training and development process with administrative staff and consultants as well as ongoing professional development and continuing education;
- Initiate and maintain relationships with community resources, outside human service agencies, and other stakeholders as needed;
- Commit to ensuring fidelity and ongoing quality improvement efforts;
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time;
Required Skills
- Must possess a strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatments in areas of mental health and intellectual disabilities, in relationship to children, adults, and families and possesses the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a variety of locations (office, home, school, and community-based).
- Comfortable working with clients diagnosed with severe and persistent mental health disorders
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, laws and standards with regard to behavioral health treatment services
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, family members, colleagues, and professional contacts
- Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet the agency’s performance, quality assurance and productivity standards
- Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience
Required Education & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related human services field
- Clinical License preferred
Travel
- Local travel within the service delivery area is required in community-based settings
