The Guidance Center provides outpatient psychiatric services in several clinics throughout the region. Outpatient psychiatric services offer a wide range of high-quality behavioral health services to clients, as well as support for their families.
In some instances, the implementation of psychotropic medications can benefit certain individuals as a complement to therapeutic interventions, as they can work to alleviate the physical and psychological distress that certain symptoms elicit. All medications are prescribed by a Licensed Psychiatrist or a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and follow-up meetings are held on as needed basis.
The Guidance Center is committed to the care of adults, adolescents, children and families. Our Psychiatrists and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners provide:
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
- Individual evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment and,
- Treat conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit disorder, trauma, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other behavioral health conditions for client of all ages.
