The 2026 Pennsylvania Strengthening Families Conference was held May 5–7 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The conference also served as the annual gathering for Parents as Teachers providers, Children’s Trust Fund grantees, and Parent Cafés teams. On April 23rd, CARE for Children’s Family Leadership Group hosted its inaugural Transition Panel at the Bradford Area Public Library. Among the featured panelists was Melaena Nelson, the organization’s Supports Coordination (SC) Program Director, who shared valuable insights regarding SC services and TGC initiatives within the community.
