Mental Health Counselors provide assessment, counseling, consultation, and referral to community resources. School Based Counseling services are for children-teens K-12 and available in all public schools throughout McKean County. The School-Based Counselor may work with the Student Assistance Program (SAP) within your child’s school. The SAP team has individuals from the school and community/agency staff to help children/families access school and community services/resources and to help to coordinate and assist in implementing a plan for your child’s success in school-home-community focusing on his/her/their individual strengths’.
