Youth enrolled in the McKean County Independent Living Program attended a group activity on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The group participated in a tour of the Bradford City Police Department led by Sergeant Daugherty. During the tour, Sergeant Daugherty provided an overview of the building layout, demonstrated technology and equipment used by officers in the field, and explained the education, training, and hiring process required to pursue a career in law enforcement. One youth volunteered to assist the sergeant with a demonstration of the use of handcuffs and leg shackles, providing a hands-on learning experience for the group.
