The Guidance Center’s Parents as Teachers program staff in DuBois attended the Sunny 106 Family Expo on Sunday, March 22nd. Over 600 families and their children attended to visit the community providers and activities offered. Parents as Teachers staff offered a rainbow craft activity, raffle basket, and information about the importance of early childhood education through Home Visiting. Vision screenings were offered and several participants were identified for recommended follow up with an eye doctor for further examination.
