ACT Team Registered Nurse

Job Description:

The ACT Team Registered Nurse functions as an integral part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team to provide intensive, recovery-based treatment for the highest risk consumers of mental health resources. The ACT Team Registered Nurse manages the medication system; documents medication treatment; communicates and coordinates with medical providers; engages in health promotion, education, and provider training to other team members; and assists consumers with understanding medications prescribed and the importance of taking medication.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work collaboratively as part of the ACT Team to provide comprehensive care that meets the individual needs of each client enrolled in ACT

Mobile Crisis Worker

Job Description:

Mobile Crisis services are provided in the community to persons experiencing a mental health crisis. Service includes crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, resolution, referral and follow-up.

  • Be on-call and available for dispatch during hours of operation as directed by supervisor
  • Provide mental health crisis intervention services to persons or agencies requesting service
  • Develop and maintain collaborative productive relationships with assigned departments in all police jurisdictions of McKean County.

In addition to providing therapeutic interventions, the FBS therapist also supports the client families with crisis response and case management.

All FBS team members are required to complete a 3-year training program specific to the ESFT clinical model to ensure treatment fidelity and for therapists to develop competency in the delivery of ESFT.

The FBS therapist is responsible for maintaining clinical treatment documentation and delivering services in compliance with all state regulations and program policy.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in the field of human services such as: social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling psychology, or education. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and/or families. Must have the ability to provide therapeutic services in a variety of locations (home, school & community).
